Ted's Woodworking is generally sold as a one-time purchase with digital download access, but we can't confirm the exact wording of "lifetime access" on your order. Terms can change, so check the official site's current offer and terms before you pay. If lifetime access matters to you, look for it stated in writing and don't rely on a reseller's say-so.
What to check before you buy
"Lifetime" can mean different things. Some plan packs let you download files once and keep them forever. Others use a members area that could, in principle, change. Here is what to look for on the checkout and terms pages:
- Is it a download or a login? A file you save to your own drive is yours to keep, whatever happens to the website later.
- Is there a recurring fee? Confirm the page describes a single payment rather than a subscription.
- Are updates promised? Don't assume new plans will be added unless the seller says so.
- What does the refund window say? Access and refunds are separate questions. See the refund policy guide.
Practical habits that protect you
- Buy from the official site only. Marketplace and pirated copies can leave you with no access, no support and possibly unsafe files. Our safe-buying guide explains the difference.
- Download everything straight away, including bonuses, and save it to two places, such as your computer and an external drive or cloud folder.
- Keep your order confirmation email and any login details.
- Take a screenshot of the access terms on the day you buy.

If you're still deciding
Permanent access only matters if you'll use the plans. If you build a few projects a year, a free plan may do the job. Our free vs paid comparison and the value verdict can help you weigh it up. When you're ready, the checkout guide walks through ordering and the official link.
